Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative Announces Anna See as Next CEO/General Manager
Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CVEC) is pleased to announce the selection of Anna See as its next Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, succeeding Troy Amoss, who will be departing the cooperative to assume the CEO/General Manager position at Ozark Border Electric Cooperative in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
See’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for CVEC, bringing leadership continuity, a strong understanding of the cooperative’s operations, and a commitment to the members and communities it serves.
See has been with Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative since 2016, progressing through several roles and currently serving as Executive Assistant/Communications Coordinator. Throughout her tenure, she has developed extensive knowledge of the cooperative’s operations, governance, member relations, and community involvement. Her responsibilities have included supporting the CEO/General Manager and Board of Directors, coordinating board activities and strategic initiatives, overseeing member communications, and managing programs that strengthen the cooperative’s connection with its members.
Her experience working closely with cooperative leadership and the Board of Directors has provided her with a broad understanding of CVEC’s mission, priorities, and commitment to providing reliable electric service to its members.
“We are confident that Anna’s knowledge of the cooperative, dedication to our members, and commitment to continuous improvement will serve Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative well as we move forward,” said Kenny VandenBerg, President of the CVEC Board of Directors. “Anna understands the importance of the cooperative business model and the responsibility we have to the members and communities we serve. We look forward to working with her in this new leadership role.”
Amoss announced his resignation earlier this year. He began his cooperative career at Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative in the 1990s and will return to Ozark Border Electric Cooperative to continue his career in cooperative leadership.
During his tenure, Amoss has helped guide CVEC in its ongoing efforts to provide dependable electric service and serve the needs of its membership. The cooperative thanks him for his leadership and contributions and wishes him continued success in his new position.
As See prepares to step into the CEO/General Manager role, CVEC remains focused on its mission of providing reliable electric service, maintaining strong relationships with its members, and supporting the communities throughout its seven-county service territory.
“I am honored to have been selected to lead Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative,” said See. “This cooperative has been an important part of my professional life, and I understand the responsibility that comes with serving our members. I look forward to building on the work of those who came before me, working alongside our employees and Board of Directors, and continuing to strengthen the cooperative for the future.”
